Buyers: Procurement, sourcing and engineering leads from OEMs and Tier 1 buyers, including approved hosted buyers

The journey

Five stages, run with you by the GCN team. This is the planned outline; timings, roundtable topics and site visits are confirmed with the final dates. Speakers are announced once confirmed.

Written buyer briefs, a curated shortlist agreed with you, and video pre-meetings with the buyers you will meet.
ArrivalEvening
Welcome dinner with the hosted buyers and the Thai Composites Association.
Day 1Hosted meetings
Hosted meetings of 45 minutes in a private meeting lounge at JW Marriott Hotel Bangkok. A briefing card on every buyer, a host, and an interpreter when needed.
Day 2Roundtables and plants
Sector roundtables in the morning. Site visits to Thai composites plants in the afternoon, for example in the Eastern Economic Corridor. Closing reception.
AfterUntil the purchase order
The GCN desk sends a written note on each meeting the next day and stays on it until the purchase order.

Hosted meetings

Each meeting is 45 minutes, with a host, a briefing card on the buyer and an interpreter when needed. You agreed the shortlist weeks before, and you have already met most buyers on video, so the table starts with specifics.

Site visits

On day 2, visiting buyers see Thai composites plants for themselves, for example in the Eastern Economic Corridor.

Thai composites makers presented together by the Thai Composites Association, so visiting buyers can see local capability in one place.
