Introducing Global Composite Network

Composites Bridge is now Global Composite Network (GCN): a year-round business matching network for the composites supply chain, with pre-matched 1:1 meetings between buyers and verified suppliers. It is co-organised with the Thai Composites Association (TCA) and meets in person at GCN Business Matching Bangkok 2027.

Why Composites Bridge became GCN

We planned Composites Bridge as a trade fair. We asked buyers, suppliers and partners what would actually move their business, and the answer was consistent: fewer booths, more qualified meetings. Procurement and engineering leads want to sit down with suppliers who can already do the work, not walk a hall hoping to find them.

So we changed the format. GCN replaces the fair with targeted business matching that runs all year, and a focused two-day matching event in Bangkok. The new name also says what we do: it is about composites, and it is a network.

How matching works

Think of a quasi-isotropic laminate: four plies, each carrying load in its own direction.

• 0°, buyers declare what they need. Members post buyer intents: part, process, material, volume and timing.
• +45°, suppliers are verified. We check quality certificates such as AS9100, ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 where held, and confirm capabilities against the profile.
• −45°, mutual interest is matched. GCN scores matches on sector, process, material and region. A meeting is booked only when both sides opt in.
• 90°, meetings happen. Online through the year, or face to face in Bangkok.

Paid meeting packages are priced per meeting, and any meeting that does not happen earns pro-rata credit.

GCN Business Matching Bangkok 2027

The first in-person edition takes place at the JW Marriott Hotel Bangkok in November 2027. Exact dates will be confirmed soon. The format is two days of pre-matched 1:1 meetings in a dedicated matching lounge, with sector sessions led by Aerospace & UAV and Defense & Security, followed by Mobility & EV, Wind, Energy & Hydrogen, Marine & Infrastructure, and Industrial.
